Celebrating 18 Years

IMG_1560.JPG

Today, June 1, 2020, I celebrate 18 years of being in business! I started my business in 2002 so that I could do what I love and also be able to take care of my 1 year old daughter. She is 19 now! Family is one of the most important things for me and as I have gone about doing what I love, I have discovered that it is most important for my clients also. Over the last 18 years I have helped you make your living rooms fit your style, helped you make the choices of exterior and interior finish selections for your forever homes, redone bathrooms, master bedrooms, and your children’s rooms. I have even helped some of you with celebrations when your children got married. What a wonderful ride!

I realize that what is most important is not really how expensive or glamorous your space is, it is how it actually functions for you and your family. One of the best compliments I have ever received from a client was when she told me that our taste was the same. She thought that my personal taste matched hers exactly. Well, that is not quite true. My job as an interior designer is to figure out what is most important to you and what your space needs and deliver that to you. The spaces that I have helped you create are the places that you spend the most important time of your day - time with your families. More than ever that truth is shining through. Combining your needs and my design is a lovely thing.

What are some common requests that I receive when meeting with my clients? See if yours is in my list:

  1. We want comfortable seating

  2. Don’t cover all of my window with the window treatment

  3. When do we pick the paint color?

  4. We want this space to be functional

  5. Where do we start?

So, where do you start? A free 15 minute call with me and we can see if my services can help you. If so, we will schedule an Initial Consultation that lasts up to 90 minutes where we will go through your needs and talk about ideas and start developing a plan to proceed. I encourage people to not get overwhelmed. Take it one step at a time and each decision helps you make the next one. Designing a new space or renovation of an old one can be so much fun! Keep the designing coming and I'll keep the ideas flowing!

Blessings,
