ORC WEEK 5.jpg

Week 5 of 8 weeks of the Better Homes and Garden Spring One Room Challenge is here, I am still in shock and surprise at my transformation! All that has gotten done and that we are almost finished with my office makeover! I love a good plan, but even more, I love seeing that said plan be completed. So, where are we in the plan…

      • Really, is there even anything else to clean our?  YES!

  • Start organizing what goes where in my new cabinets :)

  • Select and order office chairs

  • Install new lighting

    • Design creep going on-start pulling down wallpaper in the back hall(It needs a refresh too!)

    • Make piece of art for the office

    • Select wallpaper for the back hall & order it

  • Select and purchase rug for under desk/table

  • Paint all trim in office and back hall

  • Move everything out to clean wood floors

  • Make Memo board and install

What is to come…

  • Finalize organizing the cabinets and storage

  • Hang art

  • Put rug back & bring in desk/table

  • Purchase accent chair & return unused items to IKEA

  • Accessorize everything :0)

  • Take pictures

    • Brand photo shoot in my new fabulous space!

  • Have a Facebook/Instagram Live Reveal Party!!  Everyone is invited to watch and see the reveal live!

Whew! There it is, almost all of the steps.  What I didn’t include is all of the hours of researching,  selecting, trying to decide what room I wanted to do and what I wanted.  Somehow it is always easier to select for someone else.  When it comes to what I want or need it takes a little more time.  That is why I actually started the whole process in February when I signed on as a Guest Participant of the Spring One Room Challenge. Thanks for coming along with me on this journey.  It is kind of a fresh start for my work environment and I’m excited to create in this beautiful space!  I am ready for your projects so reach out and set a free 15 minute discovery call to see how we can work together on your next project!

Blessings,
